I had the pleasure of working with Melissa Vlasic for 6 months. In her time with us, she was instrumental in improving and automating several of our processes. Using the software we had available (Procore and Sage), she was able to automate our purchase order process which has saved us an immeasurable amount of time. She prepared training videos that were detailed, yet concise, allowing us to quickly get new employees up to speed on our processes.

During her time at Wilco, she took our old Explorer accounting system and moved us to the Eclipse ERP system—while still running the accounting team and managing controller duties. She automated payroll from start to finish and integrated Nektar payroll reporting. She set up reports that allow us to compare results across projects, divisions, vendors, and time periods, with quick access to the transactions behind the numbers. She also put in a PO system with built-in controls to prevent overbilling and keep vendor pricing in line with agreements. The result is a system that’s accurate, fast, and easy to work with.
Clear procedures and documentation mean the team can use it confidently without relying on extra support. Since it went in, we’ve tripled revenue without adding staff to handle the extra workload. That efficiency is because of the system Melissa designed and implemented. We highly recommend Melissa and her consulting services. We will be hiring her firm next to implement a fully integrated document management system for use across our company, and in coordination with our consultants, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
